AMERICAN PHAORAH’S RETURN IN HASKELL INVITATIONAL, JIM DANDY AND A.G. VANDERBILT

TOP STELLAR WEEKEND ON HRRN  

 

 

Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY and official radio home of the 2015 Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup World Championships, announced Thursday they will broadcast live from both Saratoga Race Course and Monmouth Park this weekend to provide on-site coverage of major graded stakes at both venues. 

 

HRRN’s Saturday coverage features the A.G. Vanderbilt (G1), Bowling Green Handicap (G2) and Jim Dandy (G2) from Saratoga, before shifting to Monmouth Park in Oceanport, NJ on Sunday to showcase the 48th running of the $1.75 million William Hill Haskell Invitational (G1) highlighted by the return of Triple Crown winner American Pharoah. 

 

Saturday’s broadcast airs from 4:30-6:30 p.m. ET on Sirius channel 93, select HRRN affiliates and will be available via live streaming on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.  Sunday’s Haskell coverage can be heard from 4:00-6:00 p.m. ET on HRRN affiliates across the country and on the networks website.

 

HRRN’s Mike Penna will anchor the coverage along with analysts Jude Feld and Anthony Stabile.  Acacia Courtney will provide paddock commentary and interviews with NYRA announcer Larry Collmus providing the call of the Saratoga races.  Monmouth announcer Frank Mirahmadi will have the call of the Haskell.

 

The Haskell is a ‘Win and You’re In’ for the Breeders’ Cup Classic division and part of HRRN’s “Road to the Breeders’ Cup” broadcast series which features coverage of 36 Breeders’ Cup Challenge races.  Coverage of the Haskell is presented by BetAmerica.

 

In addition to the live race coverage, HRRN will host their popular weekly talk show, the Equine Forum, live from Saratoga on Saturday morning from 8-10 a.m. ET.  The Equine Forum airs nationwide on   Sirius 92/XM 92 along with terrestrial affiliates across the country and is streamed live and podcast on the HRRN website.
