BREEDERS’ CUP CHALLENGE RACES FROM BELMONT AND SANTA ANITA LIVE ON HRRN THIS SATURDAY
Coverage to be Streamed Worldwide at Horseracingradio.net
Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY and official radio home of the 2016 Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup World Championships, announced Thursday they will broadcast live from Belmont Park and Santa Anita this Saturday with three hours of Breeders’ Cup Challenge coverage.
HRRN’s exclusive radio coverage airs from 5:00-8:00 p.m. ET with live streaming provided on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net. Streaming can be accessed on computers, smartphones and mobile devices.
The coverage begins with a pair of Grade 1 stakes from Belmont; the Vosburgh Invitational, a “Win and You’re In” for the Breeders’ Cup Sprint and the Beldame, which awards the winner an automatic berth into the Breeders’ Cup Distaff.
The Belmont stakes will be followed by 5 Grade 1 challenge events at Santa Anita; the FrontRunner (Breeders’ Cup Juvenile), Awesome Again (Breeders’ Cup Classic), Rodeo Drive (Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf), Zenyatta (Breeders’ Cup Distaff) and Chandelier (Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies).
In addition to the live race coverage Saturday afternoon, HRRN’s challenge day coverage kicks off Saturday morning with their popular weekly talk show, the Equine Forum presented by Woodbine Entertainment, from 8:00-10:00 a.m. ET. Listeners can tune in to the Equine Forum nationwide on SiriusXM 93 along with terrestrial affiliates across the country and is streamed live and podcast on the HRRN website.
Mike Penna, Jude Feld and Jeff Bloom will be on-site at Santa Anita, with Anthony Stabile and Mike Vesce broadcasting live from Belmont Park.
