HRRN PREAKNESS WEEK COVERAGE BEGINS WEDNESDAY LIVE FROM PIMLICO
 
Coverage to include Preakness Post Position Draw,
Black Eyed Susan, Preakness day undercard stakes and 140th Preakness
 
Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY and official radio home of the 2015 Triple Crown, announced Tuesday they will return to Pimlico Race Course with exclusive radio coverage of the 140th Preakness Stakes for the eighth consecutive year. The two hour broadcast airs Saturday from 5-7 p.m. ET and is produced in partnership with NBC Sports and Westwood One.
 
HRRN‘s Preakness week coverage begins Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. ET with a special one hour presentation exploring the history of the Maryland Thoroughbred industry followed by live coverage of the Preakness Post Position Draw from 5:00-6:00 p.m. ET. Both shows are presented by the Maryland Horse Breeders Association. The Maryland theme continues at 6:00 p.m. ET with HRRN’s Trainer Talk show presented by Fasig-Tipton featuring an in-depth conversation with 2015 Hall of Fame inductee King Leatherbury.
 
On Friday, HRRN returns with live coverage of the Grade 2 Black Eyed Susan beginning at 4:00 p.m. ET and the popular Xpressbet Weekend Stakes Preview Show from 6:00-7:00 p.m. ET with HRRN’s Ellis Starr and Anthony Stabile providing handicapping insight into Pimlico’s Saturday stakes races.
All shows on Wednesday and Friday can be heard on Sirius 220/XM 206 and via live streaming on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.
 
Saturday, HRRN kicks off a full slate of Preakness day coverage with their weekly Saturday morning talk show, the Equine Forum, hosted live from Pimlico from 8-10 a.m. ET before launching five consecutive hours of live race coverage Saturday afternoon starting at 2:00 p.m. ET including full day coverage of the Preakness undercard stakes as well as the 140th Xpressbet Preakness Stakes.
Saturday’s broadcasts will be available on Sirius 92 and XM 92 with live streaming provided on the HRRN website. A complete listing of more than 150 terrestrial affiliates across the country can also be found on the HRRN site.
HRRN’s Mike Penna will anchor the coverage along with analysts Jude Feld and Jeff Bloom. Sean Clancy will provide trackside reports and interviews. NBC race caller Larry Collmus will provide the live Preakness call. Lee Dellapina and Shawn Seay will produce.
