“YOU BE THE HOST” TO DEBUT SATURDAY MORNING ON HRRN’S EQUINE FORUM SHOW WITH HALL OF FAME JOCKEY MIKE SMITH

New segment gives listeners the opportunity to ask questions of special guests

 

 

LEXINGTON, KY (Jan. 5, 2022) – Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY, announced today the addition of a new weekly segment titled “You Be The Host” to be included in the network’s popular Equine Forum show beginning this Saturday, January 8.  HRRN’s flagship program is presented by TwinSpires.

 

Each week at 10:00 a.m. ET, listeners will have the opportunity to call in and ask questions of featured guests or submit questions on HRRN’s social media pages: @HRRN on Twitter and Horse Racing Radio Network on Facebook. 

 

Hall of Fame jockey Mike Smith will appear as special guest on the inaugural “You Be The Host” this Saturday.

 

Hosted by HRRN founder and president Mike Penna, the Equine Forum has been aired every Saturday morning since 2003.  Last year, the show was expanded to its current 3-hour format and can be heard weekly from 8:00-11:00 a.m. ET throughout North America on Sirius 219 and XM 201 along with local affiliates in Kentucky, 96.1 FM in Lexington and ESPN 680 in Louisville.  In addition, listeners can tune in each week with live streaming and an archived podcast of the show available on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.
