CHARLES TOWN CLASSIC AND CHARLES TOWN OAKS TO BE BROADCAST LIVE ON HRRN FRIDAY NIGHT

Coverage to air nationwide on Sirius 219 & XM 201

 

Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, Kentucky and official radio home of the Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup World Championships, will provide live coverage of the Grade 2 Charles Town Classic and Grade 3 Charles Town Oaks beginning at 9:30 p.m. ET Friday night.    

 

HRRN’s 1-hour broadcast can be heard nationwide from 9:30-10:30 p.m. ET on Sirius 219/XM 201 and will be streamed live on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net

 

Post time for the 11th renewal of the Charles Town Oaks is set for 9:43 p.m. ET, followed by the 12th running of the Charles Town Classic at 10:18 p.m. ET.  Grade 1 winner Wicked Whisper and Grade 2 winner Tonalist’s Shape highlight a full field of three-year-old fillies in the Oaks, with 2019 Grade 1 Pennsylvania Derby winner Math Wizard the 3-1 morning line favorite among 11 horses entered in the Classic. 

 

HRRN President Mike Penna will anchor the coverage along with analyst Bobby Neuman.  Charles Town announcer Paul Espinosa will provide the live call of each race.
