Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY and official radio home of the Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup World Championships, announced Wednesday, they have reached a partnership agreement with NBC Sports Audio to produce exclusive radio coverage of all three Triple Crown races this year.

2020 marks the sixth consecutive year HRRN and NBC Sports have teamed to produce radio coverage of the Triple Crown which will be available throughout North America on SiriusXM satellite radio along with a multitude of terrestrial affiliates throughout the United States.  Live internet streaming of all three broadcasts can also be accessed on both the NBC Sports and HRRN websites.

“Having the opportunity to work with the amazing team at NBC Sports is quite a privilege,” said HRRN President Mike Penna.  “The Triple Crown is one of the greatest accomplishments in all of sports and our team is once again honored to be able to bring these events to life for our radio and online listeners around the globe.”

For the first time in the history of the Triple Crown, the Belmont Stakes will serve as the first race in the series on Saturday, June 20, followed by the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY on Saturday, September 5 and the Preakness Stakes from Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, MD on October 3.

HRRN’s Belmont Stakes broadcast, presented by Red Brand Fence and Twin Spires, will air from 4:30-6:00 p.m. ET, and will be preceded by a 30-minute broadcast of the G1 Acorn on the Belmont undercard beginning at 4:00 p.m. ET.  Undercard coverage is presented by Breeders’ Cup.

Mike Penna will anchor the broadcasts along with analysts Kurt Becker and Anthony Stabile.  HRRN will simulcast the live call by NBC Sports’ Larry Collmus for each of the Triple Crown races.
