HRRN ANNOUNCES BELMONT STAKES (G1) BROADCAST SCHEDULE
Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY and official radio home of the 2017 Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup World Championships will be at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York, Saturday to provide extensive coverage of the historic Belmont Stakes (G1). HRRN’s Mike Penna will anchor the broadcast alongside analyst Jude Feld with Jeff Bloom and Tom Leach trackside. Anthony Stabile will host the undercard show with Jason Beides providing the analysis. NYRA and NBC announcer Larry Collmus will provide the live calls.
The “NYRA Bets Weekend Stakes Preview” kicks off the Belmont (G1) coverage Friday evening June 9, at 6:00 PM ET, when Stabile and Feld will discuss Saturday’s Belmont Park card, dissect all the stakes and share their selections. The popular broadcast can be heard on Sirius 219/XM 206 and will be streamed on www.horseracingradio.net.
Belmont (G1) day, Saturday, June 10, commences with “the show that launched the network,” the Equine Forum, in its weekly time slot 8-10 AM ET, on Sirius 219/XM 206 and streaming live on www.horseracingradio.net.
HRRN’s “Road to the Breeders’ Cup” series begins in the afternoon, featuring two “Win and You’re In” races – the Ogden Phipps (G1) and the Metropolitan Mile (G1). Belmont undercard coverage, presented by visitbarbados.org, takes place from 2-5 PM ET while the Belmont Stakes (G1) broadcast, presented by TwinSpires, airs 5-7 PM ET on Sirius/XM 93 and terrestrial affiliates around the country.
