HRRN TO CELEBRATE CHAMPION GUN RUNNER WITH “GUN RUNNER WEEK” PRESENTED BY THREE CHIMNEYS
Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY and official radio home of the Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup World Championships, will pay tribute to 2017 Horse of the Year and Champion Older Male Gun Runner with special programming and social media content all week long.
The latest in HRRN’s new “Horse Week” series, Gun Runner Week presented by Three Chimneys begins Wednesday, January 22 and concludes with HRRN’s exclusive radio broadcast of the $3 million Pegasus World Cup on Saturday, January 25.
Gun Runner accumulated career earnings of nearly $16 million while winning 6 Grade 1 races including the Breeders’ Cup Classic and Pegasus World Cup. Now standing at Three Chimneys Farm in Versailles, KY, Gun Runner was the #1 freshman sire at the recently concluded Keeneland January Sale.
Throughout the week, listeners will be treated to replays of Gun Runner’s victories along with interviews and conversations looking back on his racing career. Gun Runner will also be featured on HRRN’s social media pages, email newsletter and website throughout the week.
